Culinary workshops on the estate

Polixenia is not only a place for memorable experiences, but also for learning, discovery and growth. We regularly host a variety of culinary workshops, all deeply rooted in Transylvanian gastronomy and traditions.

Our instructors are masters of their craft and highly respected in their fields. At Polixenia, you will have the opportunity to learn from the very best and explore topics such as fermentation, local ingredients and the ways they can be prepared and preserved, butchery and meat cuts, vegetables, mushrooms and much more.

Follow our social media channels to stay up to date with our upcoming workshops and events.

Dine

The Fire Kitchen

Cooking in the Fire Kitchen uses neither electricity nor gas. Every dish is prepared exclusively with fire and embers.

The menu follows the seasons and draws on local and regional culinary roots, interpreted with a progressive approach. The intimate dining experience is reservation-led rather than a conventional restaurant service.

Guests may enquire on arrival, but a reservation is strongly recommended.
